So this kind of knocks my first blog post on its head a bit. We have two Limerick teens, one not even having his leaving cert done yet, REJECTED by Enterprise Ireland for funding, fecked off to the Silicon Valley and sold their ebay utility software company for more than €3million. I kid you not, its all here on RTE .

So well done lads! But please everyone else don’t let this put you off approaching the funding agencies, in my experience the best value we can get from them is training, mentoring and networking opportunities. Use these and make your own money! If you are just starting out, your County Enterprise Board is a great first stop.
